Nothing is really quite so great in the lush green of the tropics than the colour red. The perfect compliment, it's no wonder that many of the flowers here are red. I love seeing poinsettias in their full glory-- not just temporary Christmas decorations slated for a quick and spindly death in wintery Edmonton-- but real shrubbery filling yards. Look at this house I snapped this picture of the other day -- gorgeous. These people obviously love red. Even their house is red!

Fantastic photos...I think you should stay with the colours. The island probably needs someone like you to appreciate the red and green properly...and of course the custard and aqua needs to be noticed and loved. Thanks for sharing your finds. Keep the photos coming. The colours are delicious.
I'm glad you like them. It's amazing colour everywhere you turn here - so nice.
How did the studio go today?
The studio has been going well. We worked from about 11 to 5 on Saturday. Grace brought in a book on Joan Mitchell...we felt very inspired after looking at it...amazing colour here too!
Good for you guys!! That's a nice long day, especially since I hear it's cold there. I hope you are going into the house and making yourselves lots of tea.
I can't wait to come home and see your work!
